The Power Of Placement Of CTAs

Call-To-Action buttons or CTAs direct users to take specific action

Building effective CTAs is key when capturing your audience as your future customer, but so is the placement of these powerful buttons.

Correct placement of CTAs delivers a seamless shopping experience for your customer.

Your goal is to guide them smoothly through their shopping journey on your website, ending with a smooth check-out.

So where should we place these CTAs?

Research shows that buttons placed towards the bottom or to the right of content often OUTPERFORM other placements.

However, many still position CTAs on the top of webpages, side bars, or as pop-ups.

With that being said, if your CTA is near the top of the page, it’s a smart idea to use a secondary button near the bottom of the page such as “Learn More” or “See Menu”.

Some customers want to browse your landing page for more information before they click “Buy”.

Hence why more than one CTA is a great idea, so you don’t lose that customer down the page.

Another great piece of advice…don’t be afraid to experiment with your audience.

What works for someone may not work for you.

This is where personalization comes into play.  If you see CTAs aren’t performing as well in one spot, place it in a different spot next time to see if it moves numbers.

Overall, you must go with what best suits your customers for future sales.
