NinJo Group Summer Fun

Can you believe it’s already the middle of August?!

Even though summer doesn’t officially end until September 22nd, we all know that once the kids head back to school, homework and practices take over and summer starts to wind down.

Here is a list of some outdoor activities to do during the last few days of break!

Chicago Suburbs

Outdoor Movies: Grab your blankets, popcorn, and snacks and head to the McHenry Outdoor Theater where movies make memories! Click here to check out the movie schedule, along with daily specials!

Boat Races: Hit the water to check out Blarney Island Drag Boat Racing every Thursday through Labor Day! You’ll get to watch high performance drag boat racing on 800 feet of open water on Grass Lake in Antioch!

Auto Museum: Head to the Volo Auto Museum to take part in seven different attractions with the family! From Jurassic Gardens to the Titanic Exhibit, you’ll have hours of fun with your loved ones!

Mini Golf & Go Karts: Head to Adventure Golf & Raceway located in Westminster! Show off your miniature golfing skills at one of the three 18-hole courses! Or play all day at all three! Not a fan of mini golf? Fasten your seat belt and hit the raceway on the electric go-karts!

Saturday Night Bazaar: Come shop, sip, and mingle with over 50 food vendors, live bands, cocktails, and local merchants every Saturday at Sloan’s Lake through September!

So, while time is flying by, make sure to get outside and take part in these activities that dwindle away during the colder months ahead!

We all know how quickly time passes.  Before we know it, we’ll be focusing on festivities for the holidays!

We hope you enjoy the rest of summer break!
