The Holidays Are Here: Family Festivities Without Breaking The Bank

NinJo Group Holiday Marketing

Tis’ the season for family gatherings, holiday festivities, and time spent filling our shopping carts to spread holiday cheer.

But while this time of year brings joy, it can also bring a reality check with spending.

So, while you’re wrapping gifts, we’re highlighting affordable ways you can spend the holidays with your loved ones.

Let this be the first year of many to create family traditions that won’t cost you an arm and a leg!

Holiday Light Drive: Grab your jammies, hot cocoa and cookies while you head out to take in all of the beautiful holiday lights in your surrounding area.

Family Secret Santa: Instead of feeling the pressure buy something for everyone, set a limit and choose from a hat as to who you’ll be gifting this season!  Secret Santa is always a hit!

Volunteer Your Time: Choose a local charity or organization and get together to spread holiday cheer.  Whether you’re feeding the hungry, visiting senior homes, or helping raise money for a cause, you’re doing your part this holiday season, while enjoying your loved ones at the same time.

Home Movie Night: Snuggle up together with some popcorn and stream a holiday movie from your couch.  Not interested in streaming?  Many holiday movies are available for free on TV!

Holiday Photo Shoot: Pick a location and decide your theme as you take a family picture for your holiday card.  Don’t forget to use festive props like scarves, jammies, and holiday hats as you create a fun, lasting memory.

Seasonal Scavenger Hunt: Time to get creative for the kids! Hide clues that lead to different spots in the house where they’ll find holiday-themed surprises and activities they can do.

Gingerbread House Party:  Have a close-knit group right in your neighborhood? Invite your friends and family to come over in their jammies and decorate gingerbread houses together! There’s no need for a kit!  Use small milk cartons, frosting and candy, and you’re set to go!

By starting these traditions, you can create meaningful memories without spending a lot of money.

In the end, you’re promoting togetherness and joy while focusing on what truly makes the season so special.

Happy Holidays!
